 West Wales Regional Meet 2015

Due to a change of thinking at British Swimming, Swim Wales have been advised that they now should include 800m for girls and 1500m for boys for 11 – 13 year olds in their Long Course Championships to be held in April 2015.

As you will be aware, in order to participate in the Swim Wales Long Course Champs, swimmers must qualify for this competition via the Regional Championships.  This means that at the West Wales Regional Champs to be held 30th Jan – 1st Feb and 7th – 8th Feb  we now have to open up the 800m and 1500m events to include our 11 – 13 year olds in order for them to qualify for the Swim Wales LC.

There is an updated version of the meet pack and an updated TM file to reflect this change to the 800 & 1500m events.  The age groups for these events will now be 11/12, 13/14, 15/16, 17/OV.
